Keysight (Agilent) 54520C 2 Ch 250 MHz Digitizing Oscilloscope

The HP 54520C is a 250 MHz, 1 GSa/s sample rate, 2-channel digitizing oscilloscope. It has all of the features that you would expect in a scope plus more. Use sequential single-shot when you need to capture successive single-shot events without capturing the dead time in between. It is a great tool for applications such as pulsed laser research, high-energy physics, and pulse echo. Use glitch trigger to find the causes of anomalies in circuit operation. Trigger on hard-to-see narrow glitches down to 1 ns wide. Waveforms can be saved and time-stamped upon failure of either wave form compare or limit test. Up to 665 failures of 500 points each can be stored in multiple memory and sent to a printer, plotter, or a computer via HP-IB. Specifications. Repetitive Bandwidth: 500 MHz (equivalent time). Average Power
Average power means that the energy transfer rate is to be averaged over many periods of the lowest frequency involved. For a CW signal, the lowest frequency and highest frequency are the same, so average power and power are the same. For an amplitude modulated wave, the power must be averaged over many periods of the modulation component of the signal as well.

Dynamic range
Dynamic range the ratio of a specified maximum level of a parameter, such as power, current, voltage or frequency, to the minimum detectable value of that parameter.

Modulation
Modulation is the process by which the characteristic of one wave (the carrier) is modified by another.

Repeatability
Repeatability is the variation in a number of repeated measured quantities when measurement conditions are changed and restored. The value corresponds to half the spread between the minimum and maximum value measured.
