The B&K Precision 4003A 4 MHz Sweep Function Generator with Frequency Counter offers linear or log sweep with variable sweep rates and widths. It has a 20 MHz 5-digit external frequency counter. Specifications. Frequency Range: 0.5 Hz to 4 MHz in 6 Ranges. Waveforms: 6 Waveforms (Sine, Square, Triangle, Ramp, +Pulse, -Pulse). Amplitude: 0.2 Vpp - 20 Vpp (no load), 0.1 Vpp - 10 Vpp (50 ohm load). Attenuator: -20 db (±2%). Output Impedance: 50 ohm (±2%). DC Offset: ±10 V (pull ADJ.). Distortion: <2%, 1 Hz to 100 kHz. Available Gain
Available Gain is the ratio, at a specific frequency, of power available from the output to the power in from the source.

Pulse Power, the energy transfer rate is averaged over the pulse width. Pulse width is considered to be the time between the 50 percent risetime/falltime amplitude points. Pulse power averages out any aberrations in the pulse envelope such as overshoot or ringing.
