COPPER MOUNTAIN TECHNOLOGIES C1209 9 GHz Vector Network Analyzer

The Copper Mountain Technologies C1209 Cobalt 9 GHz Vector Network Analyzer uses advanced electromagnetic modelling to optimize it's ultra-wideband directional coupler design. By incorporating new production methods for precision air strip lines, these directional couplers have extraordinary stability, both over temperature and over very long intervals of time. Cobalt’s hybrid dual-core DSP+FPGA signal processing engine, combined with new frequency synthesizer technologies, propel Cobalt’s measurement speed to among the most advanced instruments in the industry, and well past the achievements of any cost-competitive products. It's measured parameters are S11, S21, S12, S22 and absolute power of the reference and received signals at the port. With up to 16 independent logical channels: each logical channel is represented on the screen as an individual channel window. A logical channel is defined by such stimulus signal settings as frequency range, number of test points, or power level. Specifications. Frequency Range: 0.1 MHz to 9.0 GHz. Impedance: 50 ohm. Test port connector: N-type female. Number of test ports: 2. Full CW Frequency: ±2x10^–6. Frequency Setting Resolution: 1 Hz. Number of Measurement Points: 1 to 500,001. Standard Calibration $525.00 *
*This is a Web introductory price for one calibration of the COPPER MOUNTAIN TECHNOLOGIES C1209. Price does not in most cases include measurement performance data. Pricing does include NIST traceable calibration and issue of a calibration certificate and calibration label. Pricing may vary slightly due to volume and location of laboratory supporting calibration. Volume pricing may apply. On-site fees may apply depending on logistics, location and volume of work to be completed during the visit.

dBc
dBc (decibels relative to the carrier) is the power ratio of a signal to a carrier signal, expressed in decibels. If the dBc figure is positive, then the relative signal strength is greater than the carrier signal strength. If the dBc figure is negative, then the relative signal strength is less than carrier signal strength.

Noise Density
Noise Density is the amount of noise within a defined bandwidth, usually normalized to 1 Hz.

Spurious Signals
Spurious signals are undesired signals. They can be considered in two classes. They can be stationary; their frequency and amplitude do not change significantly, or non-stationary, where the frequency and/or amplitude change significantly over short time periods.
