BK PRECISION 1652 Triple Output DC Power Supply

The B+K Precision 1652A is a Triple Output DC Power Supply with two variable 0 to 24 VDC outputs capable of supplying 0 to 500 mA, and one fixed 5 VDC output capable of supplying up to 4 A. Connect outputs in series for higher voltage or connect in parallel for higher current output (switch selectable). Voltage and current metering is provided by two, three-digit LED displays. This unit is fully protected against short circuit, overload, and reverse polarity. Specifications. Number of Outputs: Three (1 variable, 2 fixed). Output Voltage: 0 to 24 VDC (A & B), 5 VDC (C). Output Current: 0 to 500 mA (A & B), 4 A (C). Constant Voltage Operation Line Regulation: < 0.01% + 3 mV (main), < 5 mV for line fixed supply. Constant Voltage Operation Load Regulation: < 0.01% + 3 mV (main), < 10 mV fixed. CV Recovery time: 100 µS. CV Ripple & Noise (5 Hz to 1 MHz): <2 mVrms (<= 5 mVrms for fixed output). Constant Current (CC) Adjustable Current Range: 5% to 100%. CC Line Regulation: < 0.2% + 6 mA. CC Load Regulation: < 0.2% + 3 µA. CC Current Ripple: < 3 mA rms. Display: dual 3-digit LED. Voltmeter Accuracy: +(0.5% rdg + 2 digits). Ammeter Accuracy: +(0.5% rdg + 2 digits). Overload Protection: Current limiting, Reverse polarity, Overvoltage, Short circuit.

Channel Bandwidth
Channel Bandwidth is the bandwidth over which power is measured. This is usually the bandwidth in which almost all of the power of a signal is contained.

Jitter
Jitter in technical terms is the deviation in or displacement of some aspect of the pulses in a high-frequency digital signal. Jitter is the time variation of a periodic signal in electronics and telecommunications, often in relation to a reference clock source. Jitter may be observed in characteristics such as the frequency of successive pulses, the signal amplitude, or phase of periodic signals. Jitter is a significant, and usually undesired, factor in the design of almost all communications links (e.g., USB, PCI-e, SATA, OC-48). In clock recovery applications it is called timing jitter.

Overshoot
Overshoot is the distortion that follows a major transition; the difference between the peak power point and the pulse-top amplitude computed as a percentage of the pulse-top amplitude.

Rise Time
Rise time refers to the time required for a signal to change from a specified low value to a specified high value, usually 10 and 90 percent of pulse-top amplitude (vertical display is linear power).
