The B&K Precision 4010A 2 MHz Function Generator features Sine, Square, Triangle, Pulse & Ramp output, Variable duty cycle and Variable DC offset. Specifications. Frequency Range: 0.2 Hz to 2 MHz in 7 ranges. Waveforms: Sine, Square, Triangle, ±Pulse, ±Ramp. Dial Accuracy: ±5% typical. Variable Duty Cycle: 15:85:15 cont variable. Output Impedance: 50 ohm ±10%. Level: 20 V p-p Open circuit, 10V p-p into 50O. Amplitude: Variable, 20 dB range typical. Attenuation: -20 dB ±1dB. DC Offset: Preset ±0.1 V typ, Variable; ±10V open-circuit ±5 into 50 ohm. Distortion: <= 4% @ 1 kHz. Flatness: = 5% (0.45 dB). Risetime (Into 50 ohms): <=120 nS. TTL Output Level: 0.8V to 2.4V. Rise time (0.8V to 2.9V): <= 50 nS. CMOS Output Max. Frequency: 2 MHz. Clipping is the limiting of a signal so that it never exceeds some threshold.

Line Regulation
Line regulation is the capability to maintain a constant output voltage level on the output channel of a power supply despite changes to the input voltage level.

Peak Envelope Power
Peak envelope power is the maximum value of the envelope power. Envelope power is measured by making the averaging time much less than 1/fm where fm is the maximum frequency component of the modulation waveform. The averaging time is therefore limited on both ends: (1) it must be small compared to the period of the highest modulation frequency, and (2) it must be large enough to be many RF cycles long.
