Keysight (Agilent) 83623B 20 GHz Synthesized Sweeper

The HP 83623B Synthesized Swept-Signal Generator, combines excellent frequency resolution, level control, signal purity, and modulation capabilities you expect of a high-performance synthesized signal generator with the speed and convenience of a sweep oscillator. They are ideal for the demanding requirements of signal simulation, local oscillator, and stimulus/ response component or subsystem test applications. High-performance pulse modulators with >80 dB on/off ratio, and rise/ fall times < 10 ns (Option 006), make the HP 83623B suitable for the most demanding pulse modulation applications. In addition to its linear AM mode (100%/V), the HP 83623B offers a scan modulation mode (10 dB/V). Both modes have dc-coupled amplitude modulation capability with a 3 dB bandwidth of 100 kHz, and 99.7% (50 dB) of modulation depth. Pulse and amplitude modulation capabilities can be used independently and simultaneously. The HP 83623B also offers dc-coupled frequency modulation capabilities with rates up to 8 MHz. dBm
dBm (sometimes dBmW) is an abbreviation for the power ratio in decibels (dB) of the measured power referenced to one milliwatt (mW). Zero dBm equals one milliwatt. A 3 dB increase represents roughly doubling the power, a 3 dB decrease, the power is reduced by about one half.

Millimeter-wave

Power Repeatability
Power Repeatability is the random uncertainty in reproducing the power level after changing and re-setting the power level. The power repeatability is ± half the span (in dB) between the highest and lowest actual power. Note: - The long-term power repeatability can be obtained by taken the power repeatability and power stability into account.
