Keysight (Agilent) 86116B 65 GHz Optical / 80 GHz Electrical Plug-in Module

The Agilent 86116B is a plug-in module for a 86100 Infiniium DCA Module. It incorporates two measurement channels, one optical and one electrical. Electrical Channel Bandwidth: 80, 55 and 30 GHz. DC Accuracy (single marker): ±0.4% of full scale ±3 mV ±2% of (reading- channel offset), ±2% of offset (all bandwidths). Wavelength Range: 1480-1620 nm, (9/125 µm, user selectable connector). Optical Channel Unfiltered Bandwidth: 65 GHz (best pulse fidelity). Maximum Input Power (non-destruct average) 10 mW (+10 dBm).

Line regulation is the capability to maintain a constant output voltage level on the output channel of a power supply despite changes to the input voltage level.

Peak Envelope Power
Peak envelope power is the maximum value of the envelope power. Envelope power is measured by making the averaging time much less than 1/fm where fm is the maximum frequency component of the modulation waveform. The averaging time is therefore limited on both ends: (1) it must be small compared to the period of the highest modulation frequency, and (2) it must be large enough to be many RF cycles long.
