   KEITHLEY 2612   Description / Specification:
KEITHLEY 2612 Dual-Channel System Source Meter

Dual-Channel System Source Meter (200V): Combines a precision power supply, true current source, DMM, arbitrary waveform generator, V or I pulse generator with measurement, electronic load, and trigger controller-all in one instrument. Contact check function ensures high integrity measurements 10,000 readings/s and 5,500 source-measure points/s to memory provide faster test times. Family of products offers wide dynamic range: 1pA to 10A and 1µV to 200V. The embedded Test Script Processor (TSP™) offers unparalleled system automation and two to four times the test throughput of competitive products in I-V functional test applications. TSP-Link™ master/slave connection seamlessly integrates multiple Series 2600 Source Meter channels into a system that can be programmed and controlled as a single instrument. Dual Channel System that can source up to 200V.

Average Power
Average power means that the energy transfer rate is to be averaged over many periods of the lowest frequency involved. For a CW signal, the lowest frequency and highest frequency are the same, so average power and power are the same. For an amplitude modulated wave, the power must be averaged over many periods of the modulation component of the signal as well.

Dynamic range
Dynamic range the ratio of a specified maximum level of a parameter, such as power, current, voltage or frequency, to the minimum detectable value of that parameter.

Modulation
Modulation is the process by which the characteristic of one wave (the carrier) is modified by another.

Repeatability
Repeatability is the variation in a number of repeated measured quantities when measurement conditions are changed and restored. The value corresponds to half the spread between the minimum and maximum value measured.
