AEMC 1060 1000V Digital/Analog Insulation Tester

The AEMC 1060 1000V Digital/Analog Insulation Tester is designed to facilitate testing by incorporating automatic measurement features and user friendly functions. The Model 1060 provides test voltage combinations of 50V, 100V, 250V, 500V and 1000V. Measurements are displayed on a large dual-display LCD with bargraph for quick viewing of changes or trends. The AEMC 1060 automatically provides the DAR and PI ratios directly on the display. User defined PI time intervals may also be programmed. The user may even select DAR or PI functions before the test, and the megohmmeter will stop at the appropriate time and display the results. An automatic test inhibitor prevents testing on live circuits above 25V and discharge test voltage may be displayed. A memory feature permits storage, recalling and displaying of resistance values taken at user specified intervals during a test. RS-232 interface to DataView for easy report printing. Specifications. *This is a Web introductory price for one calibration of the AEMC 1060. Price does not in most cases include measurement performance data. Pricing does include NIST traceable calibration and issue of a calibration certificate and calibration label. Pricing may vary slightly due to volume and location of laboratory supporting calibration. Volume pricing may apply. On-site fees may apply depending on logistics, location and volume of work to be completed during the visit.

Clipping
Clipping is the limiting of a signal so that it never exceeds some threshold.

Line Regulation
Line regulation is the capability to maintain a constant output voltage level on the output channel of a power supply despite changes to the input voltage level.

Peak Envelope Power
Peak envelope power is the maximum value of the envelope power. Envelope power is measured by making the averaging time much less than 1/fm where fm is the maximum frequency component of the modulation waveform. The averaging time is therefore limited on both ends: (1) it must be small compared to the period of the highest modulation frequency, and (2) it must be large enough to be many RF cycles long.

RMS
RMS or root mean square is a statistical measure of the magnitude of a varying quantity
