TEKTRONIX PS280 Triple Output DC Power Supply

The Tektronix PS280 Triple Output DC power supply is a multifunction benchtop or portable instrument. It is a regulated power supply that provides fixed 5 V output for powering logic circuits and two variable outputs for a wide range of test and experimental uses. Characteristics. Output 1: 0 to 30 VDC, 0 to 2.0A (CC). Output 2: 0 to 30 VDC, 0 to 2.0A (CC). Output 3: 5.0 VDC (Fixed), 3.0 A max (foldback Iimited). Line Regulation: Two Variable: 0.01% + 3 mV (CV); 0.2% + 3 mA (CC), One Fixed: <= 5 mV (CV). Load Regulation: Two Variable: <= 0.01% + 5 mV, current > 3 A (CV); <= 300mV, 0 to 60 V single series tracking supply (CV), 0.2% + 3 mA (CC). One Fixed: <= 10 mV (CV). Ripple/Noise: Two Variable:<= 1 mV RMS, 5 Hz to 1 MHz (CV); <= 3 mA (CC). One Fixed: <= 2 mV RMS. Output in Independent Mode: Two variable 0 to 30 V (CV); 2.0 A (CC). Output in Parallel Mode: One 0 to 30 V, 4.0 A max; Tracking Error: <= 0.5% - 10mV. Series Mode: One 0 ±30 V, 2.0 A max or one 60 V, 2 A; Tracking Error: <= 0.5% - 10mV. dBm
dBm (sometimes dBmW) is an abbreviation for the power ratio in decibels (dB) of the measured power referenced to one milliwatt (mW). Zero dBm equals one milliwatt. A 3 dB increase represents roughly doubling the power, a 3 dB decrease, the power is reduced by about one half.

Millimeter-wave
Millimeter-wave is a term that generally refers to frequencies of 26.5 GHz and above. That is where signal wavelengths fall below approximately 10 mm, and thus the terminology changes from centimeters to millimeters.

Power Repeatability
Power Repeatability is the random uncertainty in reproducing the power level after changing and re-setting the power level. The power repeatability is ± half the span (in dB) between the highest and lowest actual power. Note: - The long-term power repeatability can be obtained by taken the power repeatability and power stability into account.

Stability
Stability is the extent to which a specified property, characteristic, or parameter of a substance, device, or apparatus, remains fixed with the passage of time or with varying environmental conditions.
