TEKTRONIX PS503A Triple Output Power Supply Plug-In

The Tektronix PS 503A Triple Output Power Supply Plug-In provides a dual - 20 to 0 and 0 to + 20 volt variable supply plus a 5 volt 1 A independent supply. And you can vary its - 20 and +20 volt supplies in a tracked mode, or set each individually. In the tracking mode, varying the plus and minus supplies in proportion to the voltage ratio set on their individual controls, is a simple, one-knob operation. In the nontracking mode, you can set each supply independently to any voltage - from 0 to 20 V. Output Voltage/Current #1: +5 V at 1 A. Output Voltage/Current #2: 0 to +20 V (1 amp max.). Output Voltage/Current #3: 0 to -20 V (1 amp max.). Current #2 or #3 1A in high-power compartment of TM504 or TM506 or 400 mA in any standard mainframe compartment. Outputs can be varied independently or at a constant ratio. Tracking Mode Offset Error: If the two supplies are set independently to any given vo ltage ratio and then varied by use of the VOLTS DUAL TRACKING control, the two supplies will maintain the same voltage ratio as initially set within ±50 mV. Current Limit: Adjustable from less than 100 mA to 1 A (high-power compartment) or less than 40 mA to 400 mA (standard compartment) on each supply. Load Regulation: Within 3 mV for 1 A change (highpower compartment) or 1 mV for 400 mA change (standard compartment). Ripple and Noise: 3 mV p-p or less at 1 A load (high-power compartment). 0.5 mV p-p or less at 400 mA load (standard compartment). Indicators: Individual voltage indi cators and current limiting indicators for both + and - supplies. Non-high-power compartment (400 mA) indicator. Requires TM-Series Power Module

*This is a Web introductory price for one calibration of the TEKTRONIX PS503A. Price does not in most cases include measurement performance data. Pricing does include NIST traceable calibration and issue of a calibration certificate and calibration label. Pricing may vary slightly due to volume and location of laboratory supporting calibration. Volume pricing may apply. On-site fees may apply depending on logistics, location and volume of work to be completed during the visit.

dBm
dBm (sometimes dBmW) is an abbreviation for the power ratio in decibels (dB) of the measured power referenced to one milliwatt (mW). Zero dBm equals one milliwatt. A 3 dB increase represents roughly doubling the power, a 3 dB decrease, the power is reduced by about one half.

Millimeter-wave
Millimeter-wave is a term that generally refers to frequencies of 26.5 GHz and above. That is where signal wavelengths fall below approximately 10 mm, and thus the terminology changes from centimeters to millimeters.

Power Repeatability
Power Repeatability is the random uncertainty in reproducing the power level after changing and re-setting the power level. The power repeatability is ± half the span (in dB) between the highest and lowest actual power. Note: - The long-term power repeatability can be obtained by taken the power repeatability and power stability into account.

Stability
Stability is the extent to which a specified property, characteristic, or parameter of a substance, device, or apparatus, remains fixed with the passage of time or with varying environmental conditions.
