ANRITSU ML2495A Single Channel Pulse RF Power Meter

The Anritsu ML2495A Single Channel Pulse RF Power Meter is suited for Wideband power measurements on signals such as W-CDMA, WLAN, and WiMAX. Several different families of power sensors are available with frequency coverage to 50 GHz and dynamic range up to 90 dB. Most of the power sensors can work in either pulsed/modulated or CW mode. PowerMax is a free graphical user-interface software that provides an enhanced visualization of instrument display and simplified remote control of the instrument. Compatible with Anritsu MA and MP series sensors. Specifications. Frequency range: 100 kHz to 65 GHz (sensor dependent). Dynamic range: –70 to +20 dBm (dependent on sensor, external coupler or attenuator). Sampling rate CW Mode: 75 kS/s. Sampling rate Pulse/Modulated Mode: 31.25 kS/s to 62.5 MS/s Continuous Sampling (Trigger capture time 3.2 µs to 7s, 200 data points). System rise-time (10% to 90% at +10 dBm): Typical 8 ns, Maximum 12 ns (with MA2411B sensor). Rise-time measurement dynamic range: 10% to 90% Rise-time measurement of –20 dBm to +20 dBm Peak power (with MA2491A). Source sweep: Single channel power sweep or frequency sweep. Display resolution in Readout mode: 0.1 to 0.001 dB. Measurement hold: Hold, Max, Min. Measurements: Average, Min, Max, Peak, Crest, PAE (Power Added Efficiency). Voltage measurement range: 0.00 to 20.00V nominal. Display range: –199.99 to +199.99 dB. Display: Color LCD.

Adjacent Channel Power
Adjacent Channel Power is the power from a modulated communications channel that leaks into an adjacent channel. This leakage is usually specified as a ratio to the power in the main channel, but is sometimes an absolute power.

Fall Time
Fall time is the time required for the amplitude of a pulse to decrease (fall) from a specified value (usually 90 percent of the peak value exclusive of overshoot or undershoot) to another specified value (usually 10 percent of the maximum value exclusive of overshoot or undershoot).

Overshoot
Overshoot is the distortion that follows a major transition; the difference between the peak power point and the pulse-top amplitude computed as a percentage of the pulse-top amplitude.
