ADVANTEST Q81202 1310 nm Light Source Plug-In

The Advantest 081202 1310 nm Light Source Plug-In Unit is used with the Q8221 mainframe. Specifications. Photoemittion element: LED. Wavelength: 1310 ± 25 nm. Spectrum half value: 40 nm or less. Output power: -20 ±1 dBm (At the photoemittion edge of 2 m fiber (SM 10/125 µm)). Stability: ± 0.02 dB or less (23 ± 2°C/1min); ±0.2 dB or less (0 to 40°C/8h). Output waveform: CW or chopped light 270 Hz ( ± 0.1%) with duty of 50 ± 5%, 2 kHz/4 kHz (± 0.1%) with duty of 50 ± 10%. Output connector: FC type. Preheating time: 60 minutes after power on.

PDL is expressed in decibels. Calculated by; PDL = 10 log10 (Ep/Es), where EP and ES are the measured diffraction efficiencies for P- and S-plane polarized incident light, respectively.

Return Loss (RL)
Return Loss (RL) is the ratio of the incident power to the reflected power expressed in dB. RL = 10log (Pin/Pback)

Wavelength Resolution
Wavelength Resolution is the smallest possible displayed wavelength increment/decrement.
