Keysight (Agilent) N9923A   Description / Specification:
Keysight (Agilent) N9923A FieldFox Handheld RF Vector Network Analyzer

The Agilent N9923A FieldFox Handheld RF Vector Network Analyzer provides T/R measurements, or S11 and S21, with magnitude and phase. Adding Option 122 (full 2-port S-parameters) allows two-port cal and measurement of all 4 S-parameters at the same time. Using FieldFox´s vector voltmeter (VVM), similar to the 8508A, the phase shift and electrical length of a device can be measured. The VVM option also provides ratio measurements of two channels, A/B or B/A. FieldFox´s other application include distance-to-fault and VSWR testing, absolute power measurements, and characterization of 75-ohm cable TV devices. Specifications. Frequency range: 2 MHz to 4 GHz (Option 104), 2 MHz to 6 GHz (Option 106). Frequency reference Accuracy: ±2 ppm. Frequency reference Data points: 101, 201, 401, 601, 801, 1001, 1601, 4001, 10,001 (custom number of points can be set using SCPI). Frequency reference Measurements: S11, S21 magnitude and phase, S22, S12 magnitude and phase (option 122). System impedance: 50 ohm (nominal). System dynamic range: (IF bandwidth = 300 Hz, 32 averages): 2 MHz to 6 GHz, 90 dB. Test port output power: High;+5 dBm (nominal), Low -40 dBm (nominal). Test port 1 or 2 damage level (2 MHz to 6 GHz) +23 dBm. Options. 104, 4 GHz RF vector network analyzer, transmission/reflection. 106, 6 GHz RF vector network analyzer, transmission/reflection. 112, QuickCal: Adds one-port QuickCal and two-port QuickCal (two-port QuickCal only if option 122 is ordered). 122, Full two-port S-parameters: Adds S12, S22, and full two-port calibration. 302, External USB power sensor support. 305, Cable and antenna analyzer. 308, Vector voltmeter. 010, Time domain analysis and gating. 030, Remote control capability for iOS device, such as iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch.

Pricing does include NIST traceable calibration and issue of a calibration certificate and calibration label. Pricing may vary slightly due to volume and location of laboratory supporting calibration. Volume pricing may apply. On-site fees may apply depending on logistics, location and volume of work to be completed during the visit.

Available Gain
Available Gain is the ratio, at a specific frequency, of power available from the output to the power in from the source.

Frequency Span
Frequency Span specifies the range between the start and stop frequencies, also referred to as bandwidth

Peak Envelope Power
Peak envelope power is the maximum value of the envelope power. Envelope power is measured by making the averaging time much less than 1/fm where fm is the maximum frequency component of the modulation waveform. The averaging time is therefore limited on both ends: (1) it must be small compared to the period of the highest modulation frequency, and (2) it must be large enough to be many RF cycles long.
