AEMC 1035 500V Handheld Megohmmeter

The AEMC 1035 500V Megohmmeter is a battery powered digital insulation resistance tester. It is designed to measure insulation resistance, current, capacitance, cable length, voltage and to measure resistance. It is designed to measure insulation resistance, voltage and to measure resistance. The AEMC 1035 tests are 50, 100, 250 and 500V. It incorporates a 600V voltmeter which automatically detects and accurately displays AC/DC voltages in the test circuit on each of the insulation test voltage ranges. Above 25V is also provides and audible and visual signal, and inhibits further tests, thus protecting the user and the meter. A large digital/analog multi-function display provides clear and easy readings enhanced by a bright blue electroluminscent backlight. Specifications. Test Voltage: 50V (10 kohm to 2000 Mohm), 100V (20 kohm to 2000 Mohm), 100V (50 kohm to 20,000 Mohm), 500V (100 kohm to 20,000 Mohm). Open Circuit Voltage: <75V @ 50V, <150V @ 100V, <375V @ 250V, <750V @ 500V. Short Circuit Current: <= 3 mA. Accuracy: ±3% of Reading ± 5cts. Voltage Test/Safety Check: 0 to 600 Vac/dc. Voltage Warning Indicator: >25 V. Test Inhibition: Yes >25 V. Resistance Measurement Range: 0.0 to 400 kohm. Resistance Measurement Voltage: 7 to 9 V. Resistance Measurement Current 600µA < 400 ohm; 6µA > 40 ohm. Resistance Measurement Accuracy >400 ohm: ±3% of Reading ± 1ct.

dBc
dBc (decibels relative to the carrier) is the power ratio of a signal to a carrier signal, expressed in decibels. If the dBc figure is positive, then the relative signal strength is greater than the carrier signal strength. If the dBc figure is negative, then the relative signal strength is less than carrier signal strength.

Load Regulation
Load regulation is the capability to maintain a constant voltage (or current) level on the output channel of a power supply despite changes in the supply's load (such as a change in resistance value connected across the supply output).

Power Linearity
When changing the power level and measuring the differences (in dB) between actual and displayed power levels, the power linearity is ± half the span (in dB) between the maximum and the minimum value of all differences.

Settling Time
Settling time of an output device is the time elapsed from the application of an ideal instantaneous step input to the time at which the amplifier output has entered and remained within a specified error band, usually symmetrical about the final value.
