DESCO 94350 Ground Gard 4.5 With Buzzer

The Desco 94350 Ground Gard 4.5 With Buzzer is a wrist strap and ground monitoring device for the electronics work station. Used correctly it will provide a "static safe and properly grounded" work environment. It is designed to constantly monitor 2 capacitance type single wire wrist straps using a remote module for each user. The Ground Gard 4.5 will alarm if preset values are exceeded for capacitance, high resist and ground loss conditions. The grounding system is redundant and will still provide a limited grounding even if the utility ground is lost and the system is in an alarm state. The Ground Gard 4.5 has a built-in safety resistance of no less than 500K ohms at each remote unit.

*This is a Web introductory price for one calibration of the DESCO 94350. Price does not in most cases include measurement performance data. Pricing does include NIST traceable calibration and issue of a calibration certificate and calibration label. Pricing may vary slightly due to volume and location of laboratory supporting calibration. Volume pricing may apply. On-site fees may apply depending on logistics, location and volume of work to be completed during the visit.

Clipping
Clipping is the limiting of a signal so that it never exceeds some threshold.

Line Regulation
Line regulation is the capability to maintain a constant output voltage level on the output channel of a power supply despite changes to the input voltage level.

Peak Envelope Power
Peak envelope power is the maximum value of the envelope power. Envelope power is measured by making the averaging time much less than 1/fm where fm is the maximum frequency component of the modulation waveform. The averaging time is therefore limited on both ends: (1) it must be small compared to the period of the highest modulation frequency, and (2) it must be large enough to be many RF cycles long.

RMS
RMS or root mean square is a statistical measure of the magnitude of a varying quantity
