THORLABS S3FC1550 1550 nm Benchtop Fiber Pigtailed Laser Source

The Thorlabs S3FC1550 Benchtop Fiber Pigtailed Laser Source is ideal for fiber based applications. Our S3FC Series comes with a pigtailed DFB Laser diode with single mode fiber behind an FC/PC bulkhead connector. Our fiber pigtailed lasers utilize an angled fiber ferrule at the internal laser/fiber launch point to minimize reflections back into the laser diode and built in temperature control, thereby increasing the overall stability. Specifications. Wavelength: 1550 nm. Min Full Output Power: 1.5 mW. Stability: 15 min: ±0.05 dB, 24 hr:±0.1 dB (After 1 hr Warm-up at 25 ± 10 °C Ambient). Display Accuracy: ±10%. Setpoint Resolution: 0.01 mW. Adjustment Range: ~0 mW to Full Power. TEC Stability: 0.005 °C/ 1 °C. TEC Setpoint Accuracy: ±0.25 °C. TEC Setpoint Resolution: ±0.1 °C. Chirp

Sidemode Suppression Ratio is the ratio of average signal power to the optical power of the highest sidemode within a distance from 0.1 to 6 GHz to the signal’s optical frequency, expressed in dB.

Wavelength Stability
Wavelength Stability is the change of wavelength during given time span, expressed as ± half the span between the maximum and the minimum of all actual wavelengths.
