AEMC 1030 500V Handheld Megohmmeter

The AEMC 1030 500V Megohmmeter is a battery powered digital insulation resistance tester. It incorporates the latest measurement technology and is specifically designed to the most recent international insulation and continuity testing standards. The AEMC 1030 tests at 250 and 500V. It measures insulation resistance, continuity and voltage tests. It incorporates a 600V voltmeter which automatically detects and accurately displays AC/DC voltages in the test circuit on each of the insulation test voltage ranges. Above 25V it also provides an audible and visual signal, and inhibits further tests, thus protecting the user and the meter. Specifications. Test Voltage: 250V (50 kohm to 2000 Mohm), 500V (100 kohm to 2000 Mohm). Short Circuit Current: <=3 mA. Accuracy <40 Mohm: 3% of Reading ± 5cts. Accuracy >=40 Mohm: 3% of Reading ± 2cts. Voltage Test/Safety Check: 0 to 600 Vac/dc. Voltage Warning Indicator: >25 V. Test Inhibition: Yes >25 V. Continuity Measurement Range: 0.00 to 19.99 ohms. Continuity Test Current: >=200 mA. Continuity Accuracy: 3% of Reading ± 1ct.

*This is a Web introductory price for one calibration of the AEMC 1030. Price does not in most cases include measurement performance data. Pricing does include NIST traceable calibration and issue of a calibration certificate and calibration label. Pricing may vary slightly due to volume and location of laboratory supporting calibration. Volume pricing may apply. On-site fees may apply depending on logistics, location and volume of work to be completed during the visit.

Average Power
Average power means that the energy transfer rate is to be averaged over many periods of the lowest frequency involved. For a CW signal, the lowest frequency and highest frequency are the same, so average power and power are the same. For an amplitude modulated wave, the power must be averaged over many periods of the modulation component of the signal as well.

Dynamic range
Dynamic range the ratio of a specified maximum level of a parameter, such as power, current, voltage or frequency, to the minimum detectable value of that parameter.

Modulation
Modulation is the process by which the characteristic of one wave (the carrier) is modified by another.

Repeatability
Repeatability is the variation in a number of repeated measured quantities when measurement conditions are changed and restored. The value corresponds to half the spread between the minimum and maximum value measured.
