The Amprobe AMB-6D MEGATEST 1000 Digital Megohmmeter Insulation Resistance Tester tests insulation of wires, cables, transformers and motors. Features. Programmable timer to perform the Dielectric Absorption Ratio Test. Automatic voltmeter warns against hazardous energized systems. Internal memory to store measurements for future reference. Data download to PC. Insulation resistance with 50 VDC test voltage: 0.01 to 99.9 M-ohm, accuracy ± 2% Rdg + 2 LSD @ 0.01-49.9M-ohm. Insulation resistance with 100 VDC test voltage: 0.01 to 199.9 M-ohm, accuracy ± 2% Rdg + 2 LSD @ 0.01-99.9M-ohm. Insulation resistance with 250 VDC test voltage: 0.01 to 499 M-ohm, accuracy ± 2% Rdg + 2 LSD @ 0.01-249M-ohm. Insulation resistance with 500 VDC test voltage: 0.01 to 999 M-ohm, accuracy ± 2% Rdg + 2 LSD @ 0.01-499M-ohm. Insulation resistance with 1000 VDC test voltage: 0.01 to 1999 M-ohm, ± 2% Rdg + 2 LSD @ 0.01-999M-ohm. Low Resistance (without timer): 0.01 to 99.9 ohm, accuracy ± 2% Rdg + 2 LSD @ 0.01-99.9ohm. Available Gain
Available Gain is the ratio, at a specific frequency, of power available from the output to the power in from the source.

Decibel (dB)

Mismatch Uncertainty is caused by re-reflections between one device (the source) and the device that follows it (the load).

Pulse Power
Pulse Power, the energy transfer rate is averaged over the pulse width. Pulse width is considered to be the time between the 50 percent risetime/falltime amplitude points. Pulse power averages out any aberrations in the pulse envelope such as overshoot or ringing.
