Keysight (Agilent) 3326A   Description / Specification:
Keysight (Agilent) 3326A 2-Ch 13 MHz Synthesizer

The HP 3326A Two-Channel Synthesizer combines two independent synthesizers, flexible modulation, and control circuitry into a single, powerful package. This single instrument can provide precise phase offset, two-tone sweep, fast frequency switching, internal modulation, and pulse signals for bench or systems use. The HP 3326A can provide two signals whose phase is adjustable and calibrated anywhere in its 13 MHz frequency range without an external phase meter . Self-calibration can be performed internally or externally and yields accuracy of ±0.2 degrees below 100 kHz. Phase can be set with 0.01 degree resolution at all frequencies. Using its unique phase-calibration circuitry, calibrated multi-phase signals are easily achieved with two or more HP 3326As. Specifications. Operating Modes; Two Channel: Channels A and B are independent. Two-Phase: Channels A and B are the same frequency, with calibrated phase offset between the two signals. Two-Tone: Channel B frequency offset 0 to 100 kHz from channel A frequency. Pulse: Channel B is the complement of Channel A. Frequency (Waveforms are Sine, Square, Pulse, and DC); Range: 0 Hz to 13 MHz. Resolution: 1 µHz below 100 kHz, 1 mHz at and above 100 kHz. Stability: ±5 x I0^- 6/ year, 20°C to 30°C. Output Connectors: Front panel BNC female. Impedance: 50 ohm; output may be floated to ±42 V peak. Option 001, High Stability Frequency Reference. Option 002, High Voltage Output. Option 003, Rear Terminal Outputs.

dBm
dBm (sometimes dBmW) is an abbreviation for the power ratio in decibels (dB) of the measured power referenced to one milliwatt (mW). Zero dBm equals one milliwatt. A 3 dB increase represents roughly doubling the power, a 3 dB decrease, the power is reduced by about one half.

Millimeter-wave
Millimeter-wave is a term that generally refers to frequencies of 26.5 GHz and above. That is where signal wavelengths fall below approximately 10 mm, and thus the terminology changes from centimeters to millimeters.

Power Repeatability
Power Repeatability is the random uncertainty in reproducing the power level after changing and re-setting the power level. The power repeatability is ± half the span (in dB) between the highest and lowest actual power. Note: - The long-term power repeatability can be obtained by taken the power repeatability and power stability into account.

Stability
Stability is the extent to which a specified property, characteristic, or parameter of a substance, device, or apparatus, remains fixed with the passage of time or with varying environmental conditions.
