   KAELUS IPA-0850A   Description / Specification:
KAELUS IPA-0850A 850 MHz Passive Intermodulation (PIM) analyzer

The Kaelus iPA-850A Passive Intermodulation (PIM) analyzer is the first battery powered PIM Test Analyzer versatile enough to support multiple test scenarios such as testing at the top of the tower, base of tower, roof top and in-building for DAS systems. This IEC compliant 20W, rugged, battery operated design can be operated via remote control with any WiFi enabled phone, tablet or laptop computer. This allows hands-free dynamic testing that is safe and convenient. Add the optional Range to Fault (RTF) module to quickly identify the location of PIM and Return Loss sources. An intuitive touch screen interface is also available for local control, performing tests and quickly generating site reports.

Accuracy
Accuracy is the degree of closeness of measurements of a quantity to that quantity's actual (true) value.

Jitter
Jitter in technical terms is the deviation in or displacement of some aspect of the pulses in a high-frequency digital signal. Jitter is the time variation of a periodic signal in electronics and telecommunications, often in relation to a reference clock source. Jitter may be observed in characteristics such as the frequency of successive pulses, the signal amplitude, or phase of periodic signals. Jitter is a significant, and usually undesired, factor in the design of almost all communications links (e.g., USB, PCI-e, SATA, OC-48). In clock recovery applications it is called timing jitter.

Receiver Sensitivity
Receiver Sensitivity is the optical power required by a receiver for low error signal transmission. In the case of digital signal transmission, the mean optical power is usually quoted in Watts or dBm (decibels referred to 1 milliwatt).
