Keysight (Agilent) 34410A   Description / Specification:
Keysight (Agilent) 34410A 6 1/2 Digit Digital Multimeter

The Agilent 34410A is a benchtop and system high-performance digital multimeter with a wide range of functions and enhanced precision over previous models, with 6 1/2 digits of resolution. Its functions include AC/DC voltage and current, resistance, capacitance, frequency/period, temperature measurements, continuity and diode tests. DC volts ranges: 100.0000 mV to 1000.000 V, with a 1 year mid-range accuracy of +/-0.0030 + 0.0005 (% reading + % of range). Resistance ranges: 100.0000 ohms to 1.000000 giga-ohms, with an accuracy of 0.011 + 0.001. DC current ranges: 100.0000 micro-amps to 3.00000 amps, with an accuracy of 0.050 + 0.020 (at 10 mA). Continuity: 1000 ohms, with a 1 mA test current, and a one year accuracy of 0.010 + 0.020. Diode test: 1.000 V with a 1 mA current, and a 1 year accuracy of 0.010 + 0.020. True rms AC voltage ranges: 100.0000 mV to 750.000 V with a frequency range of 3 Hz to 300 kHz, and a 1 year accuracy of 0.10 + 0.05 (% of reading + % of range). True rms AC current range: 100.0000 micro-amperes to 3.00000 A, with a frequency range of 3 Hz to 10 kHz, and an accuracy of 0.20 + 0.04 (at 5 kHz to 10 kHz range). Frequency/period ranges: 100 mV to 750 V/3 Hz to 300 kHz, with a +/-0.007% of reading accuracy at 40 Hz to 300 kHz. Capacitance ranges: 1 nF to 10 micro-farads with an accuracy of 0.40 + 0.10 (% of reading + % of range).

Channel Bandwidth
Channel Bandwidth is the bandwidth over which power is measured. This is usually the bandwidth in which almost all of the power of a signal is contained.

Jitter
Jitter in technical terms is the deviation in or displacement of some aspect of the pulses in a high-frequency digital signal. Jitter is the time variation of a periodic signal in electronics and telecommunications, often in relation to a reference clock source. Jitter may be observed in characteristics such as the frequency of successive pulses, the signal amplitude, or phase of periodic signals. Jitter is a significant, and usually undesired, factor in the design of almost all communications links (e.g., USB, PCI-e, SATA, OC-48). In clock recovery applications it is called timing jitter.

Overshoot
Overshoot is the distortion that follows a major transition; the difference between the peak power point and the pulse-top amplitude computed as a percentage of the pulse-top amplitude.

Rise Time
Rise time refers to the time required for a signal to change from a specified low value to a specified high value, usually 10 and 90 percent of pulse-top amplitude (vertical display is linear power).
