Keysight (Agilent) 3562A   Description / Specification:
Keysight (Agilent) 3562A Two-Channel 100 kHz Dynamic Signal Analyzer

The HP 3562A Dynamic Signal Analyzer is a dual-channel fast-Fourier transform-based network, spectrum and waveform analyzer which provides analysis capabilities in both the time and frequency domains. The dc-to-100 kHz frequency range, 150 dB measurement range and 80 dB dynamic range of the analyzer makes it a powerful solution for testing and analysis in electronics, mechanics and electromechanical control systems. Two high performance input channels and a built-in signal source (noise and sine signals) address network analysis on the bench or in a test system. Zoom analysis with frequency resolution to 25.6 µHz plus a powerful AM, FM and PM demodulation function. Specifications. Frequency Measurement Range: 64 µlHz to 100 kHz, both channels, single- or dual-channel operation. Frequency Accuracy: ± 0.004% of frequency reading. Frequency Resolution: Span/800, both channels, single- or dual-channel operation. Typical Real Time Bandwidth: 10kHz single-channel, 5 kHz dual-channel , with fast averaging on. Amplitude Absolute Accuracy: Single Channel (Channel 1 or Channel 2) ± 0.15 dB ± 0.015% of input range (+ 27 dBV to -40 dBV), ± 0.25 dB ± 0.025% of input range (-41 dBV to -51 dBV). Input Impedance: 1 M-ohm ± 5% shunted by 100 pF maximum. Source Types: Band limited, band translated random noise, burst random, sine chirp, burst chirp, fixed sine and swept sine signals are available from the front panel Source output. DC Offset is also userselectable. Output Impedance: 50 ohm ± 5 ohm. Output Level: <= ± 10 V peak (ac + dc) into a >= 10 kohm, <1000 pF load. Maximum current = 50 mA.

dBm
dBm (sometimes dBmW) is an abbreviation for the power ratio in decibels (dB) of the measured power referenced to one milliwatt (mW). Zero dBm equals one milliwatt. A 3 dB increase represents roughly doubling the power, a 3 dB decrease, the power is reduced by about one half.

Millimeter-wave
Millimeter-wave is a term that generally refers to frequencies of 26.5 GHz and above. That is where signal wavelengths fall below approximately 10 mm, and thus the terminology changes from centimeters to millimeters.

Power Repeatability
Power Repeatability is the random uncertainty in reproducing the power level after changing and re-setting the power level. The power repeatability is ± half the span (in dB) between the highest and lowest actual power. Note: - The long-term power repeatability can be obtained by taken the power repeatability and power stability into account.

Stability
Stability is the extent to which a specified property, characteristic, or parameter of a substance, device, or apparatus, remains fixed with the passage of time or with varying environmental conditions.
