The Anritsu MP2101A BERTWave PE is a BER tester supporting 125 Mbit/s to 12.5 Gbit/s. The BERT function supports bit rate from 125 Mbit/s to 12.5 Gbit/s (with Option-090) for evaluating devices and application supporting STM-1, 10 GFC and etc…

Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR)
Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) is a device for characterizing a fiber wherein an optical pulse is transmitted through the fiber and the resulting backscatter and reflections to the input are measured as a function of time. Useful in estimating attenuation coefficient as a function of distance and identifying defects and other localized losses.
