Keysight (Agilent) 5302A Frequency Counter Module

The HP 5302A is a Frequency Counter Module that offers you a portable precision frequency counter which will measure frequencies from 10Hz to 50MHz and time intervals with 100 ns resolution. The 5302A also has autoranging. Autoranging enhances ease of operation by automatically selecting the correct gate time to fill the display. Any frequency within range of the 5302A may be applied and the counter will select the correct gate time up to 1 sec for maximum resolution without exceeding the display range. The 5302A is a Snap-together Modular Counter for Versatility and Non Obsolescence. 6-digit solid state LED display (gallium arsenide phosphide light-emitting diodes) including decimal point and annunciator units. LED light indicates when display range is exceeded.

Line regulation is the capability to maintain a constant output voltage level on the output channel of a power supply despite changes to the input voltage level.

Peak Envelope Power
Peak envelope power is the maximum value of the envelope power. Envelope power is measured by making the averaging time much less than 1/fm where fm is the maximum frequency component of the modulation waveform. The averaging time is therefore limited on both ends: (1) it must be small compared to the period of the highest modulation frequency, and (2) it must be large enough to be many RF cycles long.
