Keysight (Agilent) 5348A 26.5 GHz Microwave Counter/Power Meter

The HP 5348A is a Microwave Counter/Power Meter that offers the convenience of a single instrument that meets both your frequency and power measurement needs. The HP 5348A counter/power meter makes these measurements to 26.5 GHz. It offers the accuracy and resolution that previously required a stand alone counter and a separate power meter. The HP 5348A is designed for ease of use; it has only 5 function keys. They are rugged, lightweight, and battery powered. The specifications for the 5348A is 500 MHz to 26.5 GHz, Sensitivity: 500 MHz to 12.4 GHz; -32 dBm / 12.4 GHz to 20 GHz -27 dBm / 20.0 GHz - 26.5 GHz: -20 dBm, Accuracy: ±LSD ±time base error x frequency(Input 1). Frequency range: 10 Hz to 525 MHz. Sensitivity: 25 mV rms (15 mV rms typical) (Input 2). Power Meter specs; Frequency range: 10 - 26.5 GHz, Power range: -70 dBm - +20 dBm, (sensor dependent).

Carrier Wave (CW)
Carrier Wave or Continuous Wave is a sinusoidal signal without modulation.

Harmonic
A harmonic of a wave is a component frequency of the signal that is an integer multiple of the fundamental frequency, i.e. if the fundamental frequency is f, the harmonics have frequencies 2f, 3f, 4f, . . . etc.

Noise Floor
Noise floor is the measure of the signal created from the sum of all the noise sources and unwanted signals within a measurement system.

Ripple
Ripple is the small unwanted residual periodic variation of the direct current (dc) output
