Keysight (Agilent) 5353A Channel C Plug-In

The HP 5353A Channel C Plug-In consists of a third input to the 5345A counter. When the plug-in counting capability is combined with the mainframe gating capability it becomes quite easy to make frequency sum and frequency difference measurements. For high speed digital applications, the greatest benefit the 5353A offers is the ability to count a specific group of events while ignoring others. This measurement is required in many applications such as computer peripheral testing and digital communications systems. It is accomplished in the events C between A and B mode by applying a start signal to CHAN A and as top signal to CHAN B while applying the data to be counted to CHAN C. The frequency range of the5353A is 0 to 500MHz (coupled) and 10MHz to 500MHz (a/c coupled) with 50ohm impedance. The sensitivity of the 5353A is variable to 20Mv rms sine wave and 60Mv peak-peak pulse. A 5353A with option 011 gives full compatibility with HP Interface Bus which provides for digital control over all functions excluding amplifier.

*This is a Web introductory price for one calibration of the Keysight (Agilent) 5353A. Price does not in most cases include measurement performance data. Pricing does include NIST traceable calibration and issue of a calibration certificate and calibration label. Pricing may vary slightly due to volume and location of laboratory supporting calibration. Volume pricing may apply. On-site fees may apply depending on logistics, location and volume of work to be completed during the visit.

Averaging
Averaging is a mathematical process to reduce the variation in a measurement by summing the data points from multiple measurements and dividing by the number of points summed.

Fall Time
Fall time is the time required for the amplitude of a pulse to decrease (fall) from a specified value (usually 90 percent of the peak value exclusive of overshoot or undershoot) to another specified value (usually 10 percent of the maximum value exclusive of overshoot or undershoot).

Noise Density
Noise Density is the amount of noise within a defined bandwidth, usually normalized to 1 Hz.

Resolution Bandwidth (RBW)
Resolution Bandwidth (RBW) is the minimum bandwidth over which you can separate two signals and still see them.
