Keysight (Agilent) 6011A 20V 120A Single-Output Autoranging DC Power Supply

The Agilent 6011A Single-Output Autoranging Power Supply (w/o GPIB) is part of the 601x series of autoranging power supplies which provide maximum power over a wide range of voltage and current combinations without having to manually select the proper output range. Specifications. Voltage: 0 to 20 V. Current: 0 to 120 A. Maximum power: 1,072 W. Autoranging output V1, P1: 20 V, 50 A. Autoranging output V2, P2: 14 V, 76 A. Autoranging output V3, P3: 7 V, 120 A. Programming accuracy Voltage (at 25° C ±5° C): 0.035% + 15 mV. Programming accuracy Current (at 25° C ±5° C): 0.2% + 25 mA. Ripple and noise, Voltage (20 Hz to 20 MHz): 8 mV (rms), 50mV (p-p). Ripple and noise, Current (20 Hz to 20 MHz): 120 mA. Load regulation Voltage: 0.01%+ 3 mV. Load regulation Current: 0.01%+ 15 mA. Transient response time (10% step change): 2 ms. Transient response time level (10% step change): 100 mV. dc floating voltage (either terminal can be grounded or floated from chassis ground): ±240 V. Remote Sensing: Up to 2 V drop in each lead. Linearity is the relative difference between the displayed power ratio, Dx/D0, and the actual (true) power ratio Px/P0 caused by changing the displayed power level from the reference level, D0, to an arbitrary displayed level, Dx.

Phase Noise
Phase noise is the frequency domain representation of rapid, short-term, random fluctuations in the phase of a waveform, caused by time domain instabilities. Phase noise (L(f)) is typically expressed in units of dBc/Hz, representing the noise power relative to the carrier contained in a 1 Hz bandwidth centered at a certain offsets from the carrier.

Sensitivity
Sensitivity is the minimum magnitude of input signal required to produce a specified output signal having a specified signal-to-noise ratio, or other specified criteria.
