Keysight (Agilent) 6674A   Description / Specification:
Keysight (Agilent) 6674A 60V 35A Single Output System DC Power Supply

The Agilent 6674A is a 0-60 VDC / 0-35 A, Single-Output 2000 W, Remote Sensing, (GPIB) Power Supply. Features, DC Floating Voltage: Output terminals can be floated up to ±240 Vdc from chassis ground. Output Common-Mode Noise Current: (to signal ground binding post) 500 µA rms, 4 mA peak-to-peak. Remote Sensing: Up to half the rated output voltage can be dropped in each load lead. The drop in the load leads subtracts from the voltage available for the load. Command Processing Time: Average time required for the output voltage to begin to change following receipt of digital data is 20 ms for the power supplies connected directly to the HP-IB. Output Programming Response Time: The rise and fall time (10/90% and 90/10%) of the output voltage is less than 15 ms. The output voltage change settles within 1 LSB (0.025% x rated voltage) of final value in less than 60 ms. Modulation: (Analog programming of output voltage and current). Input Signal: 0 to –4V for voltage, 0 to 7 V for current. Input Impedance: 30 k Ohm or greater. Input Power: 3,800 VA, 2,600 W at full load; 170 W at no load. Specifications. Output voltage: 0 to 60 V. Output current: 0 to 35 A. Programming accuracy (at 25° C ±5° C) Voltage: 0.04% + 60 mV. Programming accuracy (at 25° C ±5° C) Current: 0.1% + 25 mA. Ripple and noise (from 20 Hz to 20 MHz) Voltage: 1.25 mV (RMS), 11 mV (peak-peak). Ripple and noise (from 20 Hz to 20 MHz) Current: 25 mA (RMS). Readback accuracy at 25° C ±5° C (percent of reading plus fixed): Voltage 0.05% + 90 mV / ±Current 0.1% + 35 mA. Load and line regulation Voltage: 0.002%+ 2 mV. Load and line regulation Current: 0.005%+ 2 mA. Transient Response Time: Less than 900 µs for the output voltage to recover 100 mV following a change in load from 100% to 50%, or 50% to 100% of the output current rating of the supply.

Available Gain
Available Gain is the ratio, at a specific frequency, of power available from the output to the power in from the source.

Decibel (dB)
A unit of measurement of power which indicates relative power. A -10 dB means a reduction in power by 10 times, -20 dB means another 10 times or 100 times overall, -30 means another 10 times or 1000 times overall and so on.

Mismatch Uncertainty
Mismatch Uncertainty is caused by re-reflections between one device (the source) and the device that follows it (the load).

Pulse Power
Pulse Power, the energy transfer rate is averaged over the pulse width. Pulse width is considered to be the time between the 50 percent risetime/falltime amplitude points. Pulse power averages out any aberrations in the pulse envelope such as overshoot or ringing.
