Keysight (Agilent) E3631A Triple Output DC Power Supply

The Agilent E3631A is a triple-output programmable dc power supply designed to meet the most exacting engineering requirements with traditional HP quality and reliability designed in. Low Noise/Excellent Regulation 0.01 percent load and line regulation keep the outputs steady. This linear supply specifies both normal-mode voltage noise and common-mode current noise. Remote Interface, this supply comes with both HP-IB and RS-232. Front-Panel Operation, both voltage and current can be monitored simultaneously for any one output from the front panel on an easy-to-read vacuum fluorescent display. A knob allows you to set the output at the resolution you need for the most exacting adjustments, quickly and easily. Save and recall power supply settings to check a circuit for hi/lo power sensitivity. Set the ±25 V outputs to track each other. The output on/off button disconnects the output. The 6 V supply is isolated from the ±25 V supply to minimize any interference between circuits under test. Specifications. Number of output: 3. Output ratings: Output 1; 0 to 6 V, 0 to 5 A. Output 2; 0 to +25 V, 0 to 1 A. Output 3; 0 to -25 V, 0 to 1 A. Load regulation: <0.01% + 2 mV, <0.01% + 250 µA. Line regulation: <0.01% + 2 mV, <0.01% + 250 µA.

Phase Noise
Phase noise is the frequency domain representation of rapid, short-term, random fluctuations in the phase of a waveform, caused by time domain instabilities. Phase noise (L(f)) is typically expressed in units of dBc/Hz, representing the noise power relative to the carrier contained in a 1 Hz bandwidth centered at a certain offsets from the carrier.

Sensitivity
Sensitivity is the minimum magnitude of input signal required to produce a specified output signal having a specified signal-to-noise ratio, or other specified criteria.
