Keysight (Agilent) E3634A   Description / Specification:
Keysight (Agilent) E3634A Single Output Dual-range DC Power Supply

The Agilent E3634A is a single output, dual range programmable dc power supply designed to deliver reliable and high quality operation. It has 0.01% load and line regulation keep the output steady. The linear supply specifies both normal-mode voltage noise and common-mode current noise. The low normal-mode specification assures clean power for precision circuitry and the low common-mode current provides isolation from power line current injection. Both voltage and current can be monitored simultaneously for output from the front panel on an easy-to-read vacuum fluorescent display. A knob allows you to set the output at the resolution you need for the most exacting adjustments, quickly and easily. Store and recall key enables you to save and recall up to three frequently-used states. The output on/off button enables/disables the output. All the outputs are isolated from the chassis ground and from the remote interface. Specifications. DC Outputs: 0 to 25 V / 7A or 0 to 50 V / 4 A. Power (max): 200 W. Load and Line Regulation (Voltage / Current): <0.01% + 2 mV / < 0.01% + 250 uA. Ripple and Noise (20 Hz to 20 MHz); Normal-Mode Voltage: <500 µVrms / 3 mVpp. Normal-Mode Current: < 2 mArms. Common-Mode Current: < 1.5 uArms. Programming Accuracy (Voltage / Current): 0.05% + 10 mV / 0.2% + 10 mA. Readback Accuracy (Voltage / Current): 0.05% + 5 mV / 0.15% + 5 mA. Resolution Program (Voltage / Current): 3 mV / 0.5 mA. Resolution Readback (Voltage / Current): 1.5 mV / 0.5 mA. Resolution Meter (Voltage / Current): 10 mV / 1 mA (<10 A), 10 mA (>= 10A). Transient response time: <50 us for output to recover within 15 mV following a change in output current from full load to half load or vice versa.

Channel Bandwidth
Channel Bandwidth is the bandwidth over which power is measured. This is usually the bandwidth in which almost all of the power of a signal is contained.

Jitter
Jitter in technical terms is the deviation in or displacement of some aspect of the pulses in a high-frequency digital signal. Jitter is the time variation of a periodic signal in electronics and telecommunications, often in relation to a reference clock source. Jitter may be observed in characteristics such as the frequency of successive pulses, the signal amplitude, or phase of periodic signals. Jitter is a significant, and usually undesired, factor in the design of almost all communications links (e.g., USB, PCI-e, SATA, OC-48). In clock recovery applications it is called timing jitter.

Overshoot
Overshoot is the distortion that follows a major transition; the difference between the peak power point and the pulse-top amplitude computed as a percentage of the pulse-top amplitude.

Rise Time
Rise time refers to the time required for a signal to change from a specified low value to a specified high value, usually 10 and 90 percent of pulse-top amplitude (vertical display is linear power).
