AMPROBE AMB-4D 1000V Handheld Digital Megohmmeter / Insulation Resistance

The Amprobe AMB-4D 1000V Digital Megohmmeter Insulation Resistance Tester tests insulation of wires, cables, transformers and motors. Insulation resistance with 250 VDC ± 12.5V test voltage ranges: 0 to 200M-ohm, Accuracy: ± 3% Rdg + 2 LSD. Insulation resistance with 500 VDC ± 25V test voltage ranges: 0 to 200M-ohm, Accuracy: ± 3% Rdg + 2 LSD. Insulation resistance with 1000 VDC ± 50V test voltage ranges: 0 to 2000M-ohm, Accuracy: ± 3% Rdg + 2 LSD (0 to 1000 M-ohm), ± 3.5% Rdg + 3 LSD (1000 to 2000 M-ohm). Current Drain: 65 mA maximum on Megohm, 17 mA on ohm. Responce Time: less than 5 seconds.

dBm
dBm (sometimes dBmW) is an abbreviation for the power ratio in decibels (dB) of the measured power referenced to one milliwatt (mW). Zero dBm equals one milliwatt. A 3 dB increase represents roughly doubling the power, a 3 dB decrease, the power is reduced by about one half.

Millimeter-wave
Millimeter-wave is a term that generally refers to frequencies of 26.5 GHz and above. That is where signal wavelengths fall below approximately 10 mm, and thus the terminology changes from centimeters to millimeters.

Power Repeatability
Power Repeatability is the random uncertainty in reproducing the power level after changing and re-setting the power level. The power repeatability is ± half the span (in dB) between the highest and lowest actual power. Note: - The long-term power repeatability can be obtained by taken the power repeatability and power stability into account.

Stability
Stability is the extent to which a specified property, characteristic, or parameter of a substance, device, or apparatus, remains fixed with the passage of time or with varying environmental conditions.
