   FLUKE 8060A   Description / Specification:
FLUKE 8060A 4 1/2 Digit TRMS Digital Multimeter

The Fluke 8060A 4 1/2-digit DMM offers more measurement capabilities than many bench/portable models. Well suited for engineers and technicians working in audio, video, telecommunications, or computer technology, both meters combine precision and accuracy with a wealth of features to fit nearly every application. True-rms ac voltage and current measurement. Fast audible-visual continuity tests. Relative Reference (offset). When measuring ohms with the 8060A the relative reference function displays only the difference between a stored reference value and a measured value, even if the range was changed between readings. Relative mode works in all functions and ranges. Specifications. VDC Range: 200 mV - 1000 V. VDC Best Accuracy: ±(0.04% + 2). VDC Resolution: 10 uV. VAC (True-RMS, AC Coupled) Range: 200 mV - 1000 V. VAC Best Accuracy: ±(0.2% + 10). VDC Resolution: 10 uV. dBm, 600 ohm Reference Range: -50 - +60 dBm. dBm Best Accuracy: ± (0.15 dB). dBm Resolution: 0.01 dB. ADC Range: 200 uA - 2000 mA. ADC Best Accuracy: ±(0.2% + 2). ADC Resolution: 0.01 uA. AAC (True-RMS) Range: 200 uA - 2000 mA. AAC Best Accuracy: ±(0.75% + 10). AAC Resolution: 0.01 uA. Resistance Range: 200 ohm - 300 M-ohm. Resistance Best Accuracy: ±(0.07% + 2). Resistance Resolution: 0.01 ohm. Frequency 12 Hz to >200 kHz Range: 200 Hz - 200 kHz. Frequency Best Accuracy: ±(0.05% + 1). Frequency Resolution: 0.01 Hz. Conductance Range: 2000 nS (equivalent to 500 k-ohm). Conductance Best Accuracy: ±(0.5% + 20). Conductance Resolution: 0.01 Hz (equivalent to 10,000 M-ohm).

Averaging
Averaging is a mathematical process to reduce the variation in a measurement by summing the data points from multiple measurements and dividing by the number of points summed.

Fall Time
Fall time is the time required for the amplitude of a pulse to decrease (fall) from a specified value (usually 90 percent of the peak value exclusive of overshoot or undershoot) to another specified value (usually 10 percent of the maximum value exclusive of overshoot or undershoot).

Noise Density
Noise Density is the amount of noise within a defined bandwidth, usually normalized to 1 Hz.

Resolution Bandwidth (RBW)
Resolution Bandwidth (RBW) is the minimum bandwidth over which you can separate two signals and still see them.
