   FLUKE 867B   Description / Specification:
FLUKE 867B Graphical Multimeter

The Fluke 867B is a high precision Graphical Multimeter. It features 0.025% basic dc accuracy to discriminate low-level signal variations in transducers and analog electronics, measuring True-rms ac with bandwidth to 300 kHz, direct current from 0 to 10 Amps, with resolution down to 10nA, capacitance from 40pF to 10,000 µF., and dB gain or loss in amplifiers, filters, or attenuators. It also features an RS-232 Interface for communication to computers and printers and to import waveforms into reports. It is safety tested for IEC 1010-1, CAT III 1000 Volts for industrial distribution systems.

Available Gain
Available Gain is the ratio, at a specific frequency, of power available from the output to the power in from the source.

Decibel (dB)
A unit of measurement of power which indicates relative power. A -10 dB means a reduction in power by 10 times, -20 dB means another 10 times or 100 times overall, -30 means another 10 times or 1000 times overall and so on.

Mismatch Uncertainty
Mismatch Uncertainty is caused by re-reflections between one device (the source) and the device that follows it (the load).

Pulse Power
Pulse Power, the energy transfer rate is averaged over the pulse width. Pulse width is considered to be the time between the 50 percent risetime/falltime amplitude points. Pulse power averages out any aberrations in the pulse envelope such as overshoot or ringing.
