General description of the used ANDO AQ-3140 for sale.
The Ando AQ-3140 is a highly precise optical variable attenuator, ideal for measurements of optical loss characteristics and transmission error rate in evaluating single-mode fiber-optic communications equipment. The Ando AQ3140 contains both a step attenuator arid a continuous attenuator for precise optical level adjustments up to 65dB. Non-reflective coating on optical surface enables the AQ-3140 to achieve the high return loss of 40dB. This is suitable for measuring systems having optical device like light source that is susceptible to reflected light. Specifications. Wavelength: 1300 nm / 1550 nm. Max. attenuation: 65 dB. Attenuation: 0 to 50dB in 10dB steps and; 0 to 15dB continuously variable. Insertion loss: 3dB or less (at attenuation setting of 0 dB). Return loss: 40dB or more. Connector: FC-Super PC. Applicable fibers: SM (10/125 um).
