General description of the used NEWPORT 3700 for sale.
The Newport 3700 TEC Controller provides a 336 W bipolar output for operation with thermoelectric (TE) coolers and replaces legacy Model 3150. At the unit's heart, DSP based controls allow for PID settings with fast settling times. Computer interface is possible via a USB terminal. All pertinent TE parameters, ITE, VTE, temperature sensor (° C, R, Amp, or Volts) are measured and presented on the four line alphanumeric LCD display. All standard temperature sensors including thermistors, platinum RTD, AD590/592 and LM335 IC sensors are supported without an additional interface needed. Sensor calibration constants are easily programmed for direct readout in ° C. Protection features include: ITE Limit, Hi and Lo Temperature Limits, Voltage Limits, Sensor Open and TE Open Detection.
