General description of the used AGILENT 8166B for sale.
The Agilent 8166B Lightwave Multichannel System is the ideal mainframe for test solutions of multiport optical applications because it hosts up to 17 816xxx series modules such as power modules, compact tunable lasers or fixed laser sources. The 8166B is equipped with 17 Slots to host 816xxx series modules in any combination, synchronized parallel testing of multichannel components, graphical display for immediate control, GPIB interface, parallel and serial ports, and easy firmware upgraded high-level API. Specifications. Display: Graphical active color display, 300 x 240 points visible, 4 updates per second, VGA connector for external monitor. Display Resolution: 0.0001dB/dBm, 0.01pW to 10pW (depending on power range), up to 6.5 digits (user definable). Trigger: True synchronous on all channels. Max. 100 kHz for triggering and 1 MHz (50% duty cycle) for external digital modulation. GPIB capability: All modes and parameters accessible via GP-IB interface. Number of Modules: 17 Modules. Modules designed for the HP 8153A Lightwave Multimeter are NOT compatible with the Agilent 8166B Lightwave Multichannel System.
