The Anritsu MG642A is a pulse pattern generator operating at a clock frequency ranging from 50 MHz to 2 GHz. A pseudo-random pulse train of 15 stages and programmable patterns of 8, 12, and 24 bits length are provided, and selection of those is simply carried out by a switch. Frequency Range: Internal clock, 50MHz to 2GHz continuously variable (External clock 50MHz to 2GHz). External clock input waveform: Sine wave or rectangular wave (duty factor: 50%). External clock input level: 0.7Vp-p to 2Vp-p, 50 ohm, Connector Type N female. Pseudo-random generated pattern: Pattern length 32767 bits (2 ^15 -1), Mark density 1/8 , 1/4, 1/2,1/ 2, 3/4, 7/8, 8/8.
